SRINAGAR: As approved by Party President Mehbooba Mufti, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) has announced the formation of its new youth body. Advocate Aditya Gupta has been appointed as President of the youth wing.

The team includes Saqib (Vice President), Mohit Bhan (General Secretary – Organisation), Azad Parvaaz (General Secretary – North), Shahnawaz Mir (General Secretary – Central), Neeraj Chandel (General Secretary – Jammu), Tanveer Hussain (General Secretary – Chenab), and Aijaz Sumberiya (General Secretary).
The party said that the move aims to strengthen grassroots engagement and enhance participation of young leaders across the region.
Aditya Gupta said, “I thank Party President Mehbooba Mufti Sahiba for assigning this responsibility and the party leadership for their support.”
“This is a responsibility and a task for us to maintain the functioning and presence of the youth wing. We will work to ensure that the concerns of youth, students, and young people are addressed in the political discourse of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
