SRINAGAR: The employees of Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) on Saturday staged protest demonstration in Srinagar and strongly projected their issues.
The protesting employees were chanting slogans in support of their demands and warned the Government and management of JKRTC that if the issues of employees were not resolved, then they would intensify their struggle.
The protesting employees are demanding release of pending salary; regularization of consolidated employees, release of post retiral benefits in favour of retired employees, release of due 56% DA, implementation of SRO-43 besides implementation of 7th Pay Commission report.
They also demanded the reversal of decision of closure of JKRTC HDS Dispensation Pumps.
