SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir State Forest Corporation (JKSFC) has earned an amount of Rs 55.42 crore up to ending September 2017, from sale of 8.85 Lakh cft’s of timber to the consumers of S& M Circle Kashmir during the current year, an official spokesman said.
While reviewing stock position of timber at different Sale Depots, it was informed in the meeting that 4.95 lakh cft, timber has been dumped, 4.25 lakh timber sold to the consumers and 10902 consumers benefited in Kashmir region during 2017-2018.
