SRINAGAR
The State Vigilance Commission (SAC) has received 207 cases from the Jammu and Kashmir State Accountability Commission for investigations and other neceassry action. Of these 21 cases were recently listed for proceedings at Commissions office at Jammu and 16 cases were disposed of. Further proceedings for rest of the cases are being initiated.
A statemnet issued by the SVC said it has also received complaints directly from the complainants which are being attended.However, it did not offer any dfetails. The Commission operates from its Jammu Camp office and plans to functioning from its allotted Srinagar office soon.
