SRINAGAR:  In a recent notice issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, the scheduling of the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) for the post of Sub-Inspector(Home Department) has been announced. The tests are tentatively set to commence from December 2, 2023, at designated centers in Jammu and Srinagar.

The announcement by Deputy Controller of Examinations at the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, specifies that candidates must convey their decision through offline mode only.

Candidates who initially selected Kashmir as their preferred test center but now wish to appear for the PST/PET in Jammu are required to notify the Board. This change can be communicated through offline mode only.

Candidates must submit their representation, expressing their desire to shift the test center, within three days from the issuance of this notice. The deadline for submission is November 25, 2023.

The notice includes an enclosed format, Annexure A, which candidates must use for submitting their representation. It is mandatory to adhere to this format for a valid submission. The notice also emphasises that no requests for a change in the test center will be entertained beyond the deadline of November 25, 2023.
