SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced district cadre posts in the Social Welfare Department. The submission of online application forms will commence on December 15, 2023, and will continue up to January 14, 2024.
A total of 201 posts have been advertised or female candidates only for the post of Supervisor. There are 20 vacancies in district Kupwara, 15 vacancies in district Jammu, 13 vacancies in district Kathua, 16 vacancies in district Baramulla, 14 vacancies in district Rajouri, 8 vacancies in district Samba, 12 vacancies in district Budgam, 8 vacancies in district Ganderbal, 9 vacancies in district Pooch, 10 vacancies in district Reasi, 11 vacancies in district Kishtwar, 10 vacancies in district Pulwama, 12 vacancies in district Anantnag, 12 vacancies in district Kulgam, 6 vacancies in district Bandipora, 10 vacancies in district Doda, 5 vacancies in district Shopian, 4 vacancies in district Ramban, and 6 vacancies in district Udhampur.
The applicants must be domiciles of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. The maximum age for candidates belonging to OM is 40 years, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/ EWS/PSP, Social Caste is 43 years, for physically challenged people is 42 years and for government service/contractual employees is 40 years.
The application fee is Rs 500 for candidates belonging to OM, RBA, ALC/IB, OSC, PSP, ESM and Rs 400 for candidates belonging to EWS, SC, ST, and PwD. The date, exam centre and syllabus of the exam will be notified separately. The exam will consist of objective type questions in the English language only. There will also be negative marking against wrong answers.
