Scores of candidates appearing in different J&K SSB exams in Kashmir Tuesday said that their 10+2 exam scheduled on 21st February clashes with another exams being held by Central Board of School Education (CBSE) across India.

Appealing JKSSB authorities to postpone the said exam being held on Saturday, the candidates said that they can’t miss the opportunity to qualify ‘central teacher eligibility test’.

“Central teacher eligibility test is held only once in a year,” the candidates said, “more so, there are only two exam centres in J&L which means it is not possible to appear in the JKSSB exams.”

The candidates appealed JKSSB to consider their demand.

Repeated attempts to contact JKSSB proved futile.

“It is not the first time when such clashes appear in exams held by government agencies in J&K. It seems that the authorities don’t remain updated about the various tests held by Union government agencies thus creating problems for candidates in J&K,” the candidates said.

  1. Shame on jkssb which is always not updated itself about what is happening in the the whole country. It is pertinent to mention here that it should have to surrender to conduct the exams related to the recruitment process.
