SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has rescheduled its Computer-Based Written Test (CBT) examination for various posts which was earlier slated for January 22. The exam will now be conducted on January 24.

According to a notification issued by JKSSB, whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has scheduled a Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant, Cadres Clerk, Casher, Jr. Assistant /Computer-cum-Jr. Assistant/ Clerk/Store Attendant and Welfare Organizer, UT Cadre, Divisional Cadres and various Districts, advertised vide Advertisement Notification Nos 04, 05, 06 and 07 of 2020 and 01, 02 and 03 03 2021 from 20 to 22 January 2022 at 18 venues in Jammu as well as Kashmir Division.
“Whereas, due to surge in COVID-19 cases across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and rapidly changing circumstances/ health considerations, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has imposed complete restrictions on non-essential movement for COVID containment during weekends across all districts in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Now, therefore, in view of the above, the Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant, Cadres Clerk, Casher, Jr. Assistant /Computer-cum-Jr. Assistant/ Clerk/Store Attendant and Welfare Organizer, scheduled to be held on 22.01.2022 (Saturday), is hereby rescheduled and shall now be held on 24.01.2022 (Monday),” reads the notification.
