SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on Thursday rescheduled the Type Test (Skill Test) for the post of Junior Assistant, which was scheduled to be held on July 24, citing inclement weather conditions.
According to a notification issued by the Board, the typing test at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Jammu, has been postponed to August 24, 2026, while the test at NIELIT, Srinagar, has been rescheduled to July 28, 2026.
The Board said the decision was taken in view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions affecting parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
JKSSB clarified that the admit cards already issued will remain valid for the revised examination dates. Candidates have also been advised to report to the same examination centres at the same reporting time mentioned in their admit cards.
The notification was issued by Controller of Examinations Reyaz Ahmad Malik.
