Hundreds of students who have applied for various posts advertised by Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (SSB) are crying hoarse over the technical glitch barring them to apply for the posts.

The students said while applying for the posts advertised by SSB in their Notice No. 2 recently, they get a link in their mails, which doesn’t function. “After filling up all particulars in online form on JKSSB official website, students receive a link in their mail,” said Showkat Bhat, an aspirant. “But once we click at the link, it doesn’t function.”

As the link remains non-functional, many aspirants are already staring at their lost chance. “The last date to apply for the posts is on July 14, just two days away,” said Bushra, another aspirant. “We aren’t able to upload necessary details due to this dead link. I think, we have already lost our chance.”

The anxious students raised the issue with JKSSB authorities, who promised action, but nothing has been done so far.

Despite repeated calls from Kashmir Life to JKSSB’s head and divisional offices, no response was given.
