Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) on Thursday condemned the brutal act of rape committed on a minor girl namely Asifa in Hira Nagar Kathua district.
The spokesman said it is the failure of Government machinery especially the Police work who have not been able to pledge such incidents. JMF is of the opinion that “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” programme of Prime Minister is only a fake slogan. The recent act of rape has proved that J&K is no longer a safe place for the girl child.
JMF appealed the Chief Minister who herself is a lady should act in a strong way and put the Police Administration of District Kathua under suspension. The premature retirement of the concerned DSP + SP’s to send a strong message to the law enforcement agency.
JMF condole the death of a little child and pray for the departed soul and sympathy with the bereaved family. JMF also cautioned to the people of the State to the vigilant and not to leave their children alone.
