Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) on Friday welcomed Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir with a hope that they will spread a message of peace across the country.
“We welcome Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu where from they will start their Yatra towards holy cave via two routes; Baltal and Pahalgam,” the spokesman said in a statement.
He said that Pilgrims are the guests in Jammu and Kashmir and J&K has always respected the people from outside valley and it will remain constant hereafter.
“Amarnath yatra provides us an opportunity to interact with the pilgrims coming from outside the state to serve them as our guests,” the spokesman quoted the JMF president as saying.
