SRINAGAR: University of Jammu is inviting applicants for the positions of Junior Engineer (Civil), Semi-Professional Assistant, Laboratory Assistant (Geography), Data Entry Operator, Steno-Typist, Junior Assistant, and Section Cutter. The application deadline is April 04, 2024.
For the position of Junior Engineer (Civil), eligibility requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of two years of experience as a JE or a Bachelor of Engineering. The salary will range between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
For the position of Semi-Professional Assistant, the applicant must have a graduate degree in Library Science. The salary will range between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
For the position of Laboratory Assistant (Geography), the applicant must have an MSc in Geography. The salary will range between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
For the position of Data Entry Operator, the applicant must have a qualification in BCA or graduation in any discipline with PGDCA. The salary will range between Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
For the position of Steno-Typist, the applicant must be a graduate with a minimum speed of 60 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typing. The salary will range between Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
For the position of Junior Assistant, the applicant must be a graduate with a computer typing speed of 40 words per minute. The salary will range between Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100.
For the position of Section Cutter, the applicant must have passed middle school with a Certificate Course from ITI or in the trade. The salary will range between Rs 16,900 to Rs 53,500.
Applicants are required to produce a printout of the completed online application form (Hardcopy), duly self-attested, along with supporting documents at the time of skill test/trade test/Computer test/Interview, etc.
The Selection Criteria, scheme of entrance test, and the syllabus for the above-mentioned positions shall be notified on the University website.
