District Hospital Baramulla and CHC Sankoo Kargil brings laurel to Kashmir Division nationally when J P Nadda, Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India felicitated District Hospital Baramulla and CHC Sankoo, Kargil in National Felicitation Ceremony held at New Delhi on Thursday.

The spokesman said Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman has appreciated the hospital administrator along with the whole staff of District Hospital Baramulla and CHC Sankoo, Kargil for receiving the first prize under Kayakalp in District & CHC section in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

“The award has been given in recognition of the efforts towards excellence in promoting cleanliness, hygiene and infection control in the Hospital contributing to improved quality of care. Out of the five hospitals selected in Jammu and Kashmir under Kayakalp three were from Kashmir Division. Such feat has brought laurels to the health services of Kashmir Division,” the spokesman said.

The Director while applauding the role of every health personnel of both the hospitals said that, it is a proud moment for Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir. He also stressed that the feat has been achieved only by sheer hard work and dedication of the officers/officials of both the hospitals.
