SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in various areas of Jammu and Kathua districts between April 23 and 25 due to necessary maintenance works.
According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, electricity supply to Salehar, Khour, Rathana, Jinder Mehlu, Makhanpur, Kool Kalian, Biaspur, Kotli, Kalyana, Sai Kalan, Khanachak, Abdullian, Nikowal and adjoining areas will remain affected on April 24 from 7 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, Old Arnia, Jabowal, BSF, Mulachak, Treva and neighbouring localities will experience a power shutdown on April 25 from 9 am to 12 noon.
In addition, Sehora, Kunjwani, Industrial Estate Digiana, Sanjay Nagar, Jeevan Nagar, Maha Kali Nagar, Ajit Nagar, Raina Colony, Sant Nagar, Vishal Colony, and areas fed by 11KV feeders from Babliana will face an outage on April 24 from 8 am to 1 pm.
Meanwhile, Jakh and adjoining areas will witness power disruption on April 23 from 7 am to 8 am.
From the Kathua region, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), O&M Circle Kathua, informed that Telli Basti, Bari Brahmana city, and nearby localities will remain without electricity on April 23 from 7 am to 10 am, while Kanhal-I and adjoining areas will face power suspension on the same day from 7 am to 1 pm.
