SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages across various regions of Jammu and Kathua districts from February 2 to February 9, 2025.
In Jammu, power supply will be disrupted in several areas on February 2. These include Company Bagh, Warehouse, Jewel, Chand Nagar, Krishna Nagar, and surrounding regions, from 8 am to 1 pm. The areas of Jakh, Jogpur, Sarore, Patli Industry, Vijaypur Town, Kolpur, Bandral, Bari Brahmana Industrial area, and nearby locations will experience power cuts from 10 am to 3 pm. Additionally, power supply will be suspended in Janglote (Industrial Area), Kumri Kathera, MES Janglote, IIDC, Govindsor, Changran, Nagri, Palli, Nicer Paper Mill, and adjoining areas between 10 am and 3 pm.
Other scheduled outages in Jammu on February 2 will affect Budhi, Nanan, Barnoti, Channi, Marheen, Paharpur, Rajbagh, Hariachak, and nearby regions from 8 am to 10 am, and Rangoor, Kesho, and surrounding areas from 10 am to 4 pm.
On February 3, power disruptions will affect Nandpur, Old Nandpur, Jerada BSF, Pindi, Adlehar, Baba Chamlyal, and adjoining areas from 10 am to 4 pm. Additionally, Bamyal, Sidhra, GRIF Camp, Khanpur, Kamani Makir, Bypass Fishery Department, Tawi Bridge, and nearby regions will face power cuts from 8 am to 2 pm. Power supply will also be impacted in Barui, Nardiwal, Mandrian, Kha, Maira, Thatar Mundh, Payan, and surrounding areas during the same time.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution) of JPDCL’s O&M Circle Kathua has informed that Bandral and its adjoining areas will experience power cuts on both February 2 and 3 from 9 am to 2 pm. Sehora, Industry-2, and nearby locations will face outages on February 2 from 9 am to 2 pm, while Badhori and its adjoining areas will face power disruptions on February 3 from 9 am to 3 pm.
Further scheduled outages are planned for several regions between February 4 and February 9, including Vijaypur 1st and Vijaypur-3rd (from 10 am to 4 pm on February 4, 6, and 9), Meen and surrounding areas (from 9 am to 3 pm on February 2, 4, and 5), and Sarore, Gowal, and nearby locations (from 10 am to 4 pm on February 2, 4, and 7). Additionally, Jakh will face power disruptions on February 7 from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, while Nandpur-1, Nandpur-2, and adjoining areas will be affected on February 3, 6, and 8 from 10 am to 4 pm.
