SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages across various areas in Jammu and Kathua on February 19 and 20 to facilitate essential maintenance and upgradation work.
According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL Jammu, power supply will remain disrupted in multiple areas on February 19:
From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, power will be cut in Simbalwala, Batera, Shahachak, Chack, Maine Ghura, Singhu, Mishriwala, Dhyaran, Sua No. 1, Gharkhal, Gump Pul, Dharam Khoo, and adjoining areas.
From 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, outages will affect Nanan, Barnoti, Hiranagar, Channi, Paharpur, and nearby localities.
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, power supply will be disrupted in Rangoor, Kesho, Kamore, Rajwal, and adjacent areas.
On February 20, power outages will impact Jarai, Parliwand, Main Bazar, PHE installations, multiple wards (4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12), Taraf Sanji, Bhagthali, Court, Jail, Basantpur, Lakhanpur Dhanna, Thein, and surrounding areas from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL O&M Circle Kathua, has informed that Old Mawa and its adjoining areas will experience power cuts on February 19 and 20 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Authorities have urged residents to plan accordingly and cooperate during the scheduled outages.
