SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) on Tuesday announced scheduled power interruptions across several parts of Jammu division over the next few days to facilitate maintenance and repair works.
According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, electricity supply to Bantalab, Local Market, Laxmipuram, Swarn Vihar, Chinore, Radio Station, CRPF and adjoining areas will remain affected on October 29 from 9 am to 1 pm.
Similarly, power to Chibba, Thanda Pani, Baymal and nearby areas will be suspended on October 29 and 31 from 8 am to 2 pm, while Jagti Local, Migrant Camp, Jagti Village, PHE, Panjgrain, Saya Karli and adjoining areas will face outages on October 29 from 10 am to 2 pm.
The statement further said that Trikuta Nagar will experience a power cut on October 29 from 8 am to 1 pm, and Ratnuchak, Pouni, Shivkhori, Dadua, Laiter, Bharakh, Ransoo, Talwara and adjoining areas will be without supply on October 30 from 9 am to 3 pm.
Likewise, power supply to Gandoh, Change, Bhatyas and adjoining areas will remain affected on October 29 and 30 from 9 am to 5 pm.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL OM Circle Kathua, has also announced that Changran, Chack Desa Singh, Manke Talab, Shiva Nagar, Durga Nagar, Government Women’s Degree College, Ward No. 2, District Jail, Super Bazaar and adjoining areas will face scheduled outages on October 29 and 30 from 7 am to 1 pm.
Officials have urged residents in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements and cooperate with the maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of the works.
