Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik – alleged that the authorities have turned Kashmir into a slaughter house.
In a statement, the leaders said the state authorities have unleashed a “reign of terror” against innocent civilians in the Valley.
They said the state authorities have turned the “whole valley into a slaughter house.”
The leaders also announced that they will hold a press conference at Ahdoos hotel on May 05.
Terming the killing of teenager student Umar Kumar as most unfortunate and deplorable, the leadership said that we are deeply grieved over the killings of “un-blossomed flowers”.
“We will never forget sacrifices rendered by the martyrs. We are duty-bound to carry their mission till its logical conclusion,” they said, in the statement.
“We will never surrender and will pursue the mission of martyrs, despite terror unleashed by brutal authorities. Resistance leadership won’t allow anybody to deceive nation and bargain against the sacrifices of martyrs,” they added.
A joint consultation meeting among the three leaders was held earlier at Geelani’s residence in Hyderpora.
