SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, V K Bidhuri, on Friday said that the Chief Minister has laid out a roadmap for 24×7 electricity, emphasising that public support is essential to achieve this goal.
Bidhuri said that the judicious use of electricity would help reduce damage to transformers and minimise fire incidents.
He also mentioned that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure the smooth celebration of upcoming festivals.
When asked about a possible liquor ban, he clarified that the issue does not fall under his jurisdiction but assured that any government decision on the matter would be implemented. (KNO)
