On the direction of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah the health department today ordered up gradation of sub centre Kandiwara to Public Health Centre (PHC) and allotted ambulance to the said village.
Pertinently Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday morning had visited bereaved families in Kandiwara, Kokernag area who had lost their kids in a tragic road accident.
CM directed Health Department for immediate up gradation of Sub Health Centre to Primary Health Centre (PHC) and also directed them to issue an ambulance to the said village. He also emphasized the need of strengthening the health infrastructure in Kandiwara area.
The development has received overwhelmed response by the people at Kandiwara. The people while welcoming the step and have expressed their satisfaction and happiness.
On Friday nine school children were killed and eight others injured six among them seriously, when a school bus met with an accident in Kokernag area of Islamabad in south Kashmir Thursday afternoon.
