Tahiri, the head of Jamiat Ahlihadees’ Batamaloo unit and son of prominent religious scholar late Abdul Rashid Bhat Tahiri, was allegedly attacked by a grenade at his home.

Tahiri and his family had a narrow escape, however, home and car suffered damages in the blast.
