SRINAGAR: A group of 22 Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) Probationers including 7 female officers of 2016 batch undergoing training at Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA) today participated in an interactive session with the district administration Ramban under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Nazim Zai Khan.

The spokesman said that group was guided by the Head of Centre for Good Governance and Administrative Reforms, J&K IMPA, Professor, Sunita Zalpuri.

ADDC, Nawab Din, ADC, Ashok Kumar and others officers were present at the interactive session.

A detailed deliberation was held on topography, demography, general issues, priorities, challenges and on progress of major development projects being executing in district Ramban.

The DDC gave a detailed account of the developmental activities being carried out in the district under key sectors like roads, health, education and employment. He also shared with them experiences of his services at various positions.

The DDC exhorted upon the Probationers to work with dedication and honesty as they are the future planners and reminded them that the people have high expectations from them. Probationers also raised queries which were replied by the officers.

Meanwhile, the group of Probationers conducted a tour of the district to get the idea of field functioning and to have better understanding of the role of administration in delivering services to the common masses.
