DSC_0346Continuing his visit of flood hit areas, Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq Sunday took stock of the flood situation in Kashmir valley especially Srinagar. He along with youth volunteers  visited Safa Kadal, Kaka Sarie, Nawab Bazar, Watal Kadal and other several flood-affected areas.

Terming the floods as a test from Almighty Allah, Mirwaiz according to statement stressed upon the people to go for self help in these emergency times. He asked people to offer Nimaaz and take strength from Allah in this hour of crisis and disaster.

Mirwaiz on the occasion appreciated the volunteers of Youth Awami Action Committee for ferrying and shifting several flood victims including old, infirm, women and children to safer places by engaging Trucks and Tippers.

Meanwhile according to the spokesman, Emergency Relief Centre Mirwaiz Manzil Rajouri Kadal has made arrangements regarding shelter, stay and food for flood victims at Islamia School Rajouri Kadal, Community Hall Rajouri Kadal and Gani Memorial Community Hall. In this connection people are advised to contact on 0194-2429813 for any assistance.
