The Srinagar Jammu highway was being restored for one-way traffic on Monday after remaining suspended for multiple hours due to landslides at Panthal area of Ramban.

An official from the traffic department said that the traffic movement will be restored later in the day as the landslide debris have been cleared on Srinagar Jammu highway.

Meanwhile, Leh-Srinagar highway, connecting Ladakh region with the valley, and historic Mughal road remained closed for traffic due to the accumulation of several feet of snow.
