SRINAGAR: Traffic authorities on Monday informed that due to inclement weather conditions there shall be no traffic movement on the Srinagar-Jammu highway on Tuesday.

According to the advisory, no vehicular movement shall be allowed from either side on Jammu-Srinagar NHW  in view of inclement weather prediction issued by the MeT department for the next few days/landslides/shooting stones at several places and continuous raining on NH-44.

The historic Mughal Road and SSG Road is closed due to snow accumulation, reads the advisory.

It said that the Srinagar-Leh highway is closed by the J&K Government vide Divisional Commissioner Kashmir’s order No. 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

“On 26-03-2021 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the highway,” said the advisory.
