In an official statement, FCIK expressed profound shock and grief, calling the attack a direct assault not only on human life but also on the soul of Kashmir, which has long been known for its tradition of hospitality, warmth, and harmony. “This barbaric act of violence stands in stark contrast to the values upheld by the Kashmiri society, and it is unequivocally condemned,” the statement read.

FCIK emphasized that no true Kashmiri, nor any follower of Islam, could support or justify such an act. The organization reaffirmed that Islam, a religion of peace and mercy, strictly forbids the killing of innocent people, and such acts violate both the teachings of Islam and the ethical fabric of Kashmiri culture.

The Federation extended its deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and offered heartfelt condolences. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost their loved ones and with the injured. We urge the authorities to provide the best possible medical care and support,” the statement added.

The attack has deeply wounded every conscientious resident of Kashmir, a region historically proud of its hospitality. FCIK reiterated its unwavering commitment to peace, communal harmony, and the safety of both residents and visitors. The Federation called for unity within society to raise collective voices against terrorism, urging everyone to work together toward healing and restoring peace in the Valley.

In a similar statement, the Jammu and Kashmir Fruits and Vegetables Processing and Integrated Cold Chain Association (JKPICCA) condemned the violence and expressed profound sorrow over the loss of innocent lives. The Association’s President condemned such acts as utterly intolerable and called for swift identification and prosecution of those responsible.

“Violence against the innocent, under any context, is a grave injustice,” JKPICCA said. “We call for the promotion of peace and mutual respect across all communities and hope for an end to the cycle of terror that has plagued our region and the world.”

Both organisations voiced their commitment to peace and justice, reiterating the need for strict and exemplary action to deter such incidents in the future. They urged authorities to ensure those responsible for this tragedy are brought to justice swiftly.
