SRINAGAR
Jawahira Shawl, printer, publisher and owner of the weekly Kashmir Life passed away Sunday morning on April 7, after prolonged illness. Ina LiIlahi Wa Ina Ilahi Rajoan.
Deceased was the sister in law of veteran journalist Masood Hussain.
Ms Shawl will be buried at her ancestral grave yard at Malkha. We, the Kashmir Life family mourn the death of our beloved founder. We pray for peace to the departed soul for courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
According to family sources the mourning will be held only for three days.
