The mid-night earthquake which hit Kashmir was 6.9 on Richter scale.
Pakistan’s Geo TV reported that the epicentre of the earthquake lied in Afghan-Tajik border while it was 191 deep inside the earth.
The earthquake shook Kashmir and Pakistani region.
Damage, if any, was not immediately known.
