SRINAGAR: DC’s new animated film, Injustice has created quite a stir on social media after a video clip from the movie purportedly called Kashmir as ‘disputed’

DC’s League of Justice comics series now has one about Kashmir

In a clip that has since gone viral, Superman and Wonder Woman are seen taking down aircrafts with its voice-over saying he along with Wonder Woman destroyed “every piece of military equipment” in Kashmir and declared it as “arms-free zone”.

“In disputed Kashmir, Superman and Wonder Woman destroyed every piece of military equipment, declaring it an arms-free zone,” the voice in the clip says.

The video also shows Superman forcing Israel and Palestine to make a peace deal.

“You will agree to these terms, or they will be agreed to, for you,” Superman is seen telling the leaders of Israel and Palestine in the clip.

The movie is adapted from the video game series based on DC Comics, Injustice: Gods Among Us and was released throughout the world on October 19, 2021.

The storyline of Injustice is that Joker is seen provoking and tricking Superman into killing his pregnant wife and destroying the Metropolis with a nuclear bomb. Five years later, the deranged Superman is ruling the whole world. Batman then summons his Justice League counterparts from another universe to join him in destroying the regime.

The clip was uploaded on Twitter by TheBite (@_TheBite) and has been viewed more than 1.4 lakh times. However, Warner Brothers, which own the DC comics are yet to comment on the issue

The clip has drawn angry reactions from the Indian people with #AntiIndiaSuperman trending on Twitter.
