SRINAGAR: Syeda Hameeda, mother of editor Kashmir Observer Sajjad Haider, passed away here on Sunday.
A large number of people joined her funeral prayers which were held at Imambargah Gulshan-e-Ali Shalimar Srinagar.
She, the widow of the late Maulana Mustafa Hussain Ansari and daughter of the late Aga Syed Muhammad Jalali, was later laid to rest at Baba Mazar, Zadibal.
According to family sources, her congregational fateha will be held at Gulshan-e-Ali Shalimar on Wednesday.
