SRINAGAR: The Government Monday informed that 12 fresh positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported today from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 478947.

Moreover, 29 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 12 from Jammu division and 17from Kashmir division.

Also, 8,877 doses of COVID Vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir to 2,45,32,918.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 478947 positive cases, 194are Active Positive (89in Jammu Division and 105 in Kashmir Division), 473969 have recovered and 4784have died; 2351 in Jammu division and 2433 in Kashmir division.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 08 cases, Baramulla reported 00 cases, Budgam 00 cases, Pulwama reported 01 cases, Kupwara reported 00 case, Anantnag reported 00 case, Bandipora reported 00 case, Ganderbal reported 00 cases, Kulgam reported 03 cases and Shopian also reported no fresh cases for today.

In Jammu division no fresh cases were reported today from any district.

The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104. In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.

It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
