Hundreds of Sikhs from Kashmir under the banner of Kashmir Sikh Community on Monday held a protest demonstration against the state government for ignoring the minorities of the valley.

Hundreds of Sikhs from various districts of the valley assembled at Partap Park in Srinagar, raising anti-governmental slogans and holding placards which read; “Stop discrimination with Kashmiri Sikhs”, “SRO-425 totally injustice with Kashmiri Sikhs”, “We Won’t Tolerate Discrimination”, “Stop favoritism,”  demanded an immediate revocation of the SRO-425.

The protestors said that the state government is ignoring the minorities of the valley who never left valley even after lots of “hardships and ignorance attitude” of govt towards us.

The protest was organized by President of KSC Satpal Singh GPC Budgam and Inderjeet Singh under the banner of Kashmiri Sikh community, who last year had challenged SRO 425 scam in the high court last year. The protestors threated that if their demands are not fulfilled immediately they will come on streets on daily basis.
