SRINAGAR: A Srinagar based 25-year-old lawyer, Hasnain Khawja has been awarded British Chevening scholarship.
Part of the UK government’s global scholarship program to which thousands of people from across the globe apply every year, it is fully funded one year master’s program in any subject in universities across the UK.
Aimed to offer “future leaders” an opportunity to understand the subject, Hasnain as per the reports would now proceed to study LLM in Human Rights from Queen Mary University.
Hailing from Bemina area of Srinagar, Hasnain has pursued an integrated law degree from the University of Kashmir and is a 2019 graduate.
