SRINAGAR: Adbee Markaz Kamraz expressed its thanks to Microsoft for incorporating the Kashmiri language into its translation services.

In an official statement on its Twitter handle, the organization conveyed its deep appreciation for Microsoft India’s MS Translator and Azure.

“The inclusion of the Kashmiri language, benefiting 7 million speakers, is monumental. We extend our readiness to assist in further advancements,” the AMK assured. “We are constantly approaching Google to include Kashmiri language in Google translate services and are hopeful of positive results. However, we believe that the inclusion of the Kashmiri language in Microsoft translate services is a great achievement, which we, along with all the mother language (Kashmiri) lovers, whether individuals or groups are celebrating as a great gift on the conclusion of the year 2023.”

“We are hopeful that yet another celebration is waiting in the wings when our efforts to get the Kashmiri language included in Google translate services succeed, hopefully in the coming year 2024,” Markaz stated in its release.
