Valleys first national board certified neonatologist, Dr Showkat Hussain Teli has been invited to deliver a speech at 14th world Paediatrics conference at Los Angelis, California, USA.
Showkat will be presenting his research related to optimal method of feeding of neonates weighing between 500 to 1500 grams.
Doctor Teli hails from a small village of Shirpora in southern part of Kashmir’s Kulgam.
Teli after completing his MD paediatrics from government medical college Srinagar and senior residency from SKIMS Srinagar, then joined DNB neonatology at Surya Children’s Hospital Mumbai.
Pertinently, on May 26 this year, Dr Showkat delivered a lecture at International Congress of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Prague in Czech Republic.
Besides, Dr Showkat has also been invited to deliver a lecture at International Congress of Pediatrics which will be held at Taiyuan in northern China in December this year.
