SRINAGAR: A Kashmiri Pandit died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, according to official sources.
Sources informed News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the deceased, identified as Gayan Bhat from Tahab, was currently residing in Jammu.
They said he had come to visit relatives when he complained of chest pain during the night hours. He was immediately taken to District Hospital Pulwama, where doctors declared him dead.
They said that the deceased’s body is to be transported to Jammu after road clearance for the last rites.
