SRINAGAR: Kashmiri public policy scholar Arhan Bagati has been appointed as a Research Fellow at the Harvard University Center for International Development (CID), effective August 2026.
Bagati, a Master in Public Policy graduate from Harvard Kennedy School, will undertake development-focused research at CID, with a particular focus on Kashmir and its development challenges.
The appointment brings a Kashmiri researcher into one of Harvard’s prominent centres focused on development research and policy solutions, including work addressing local and regional development challenges.
Bagati’s research at CID will focus on issues concerning development in Kashmir and the challenges specific to the region.
