A Kashmiri medical student has been attacked in Russia and is in coma this time.

Identified as Yasir, a fellow Kashmiri student contacted Union Ministry of External Affairs on micro blogging networking site, Twitter following which, the Indian authorities in Moscow got in touch with the victim.

“I have got complete report on Yasir. An Indian Doctor is treating him in Kazan Trauma Centre in Russia./1 @imsabbah @murtazajaffar,” wrote Union Minister or External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj in her tweet last late night.

“I have spoken to the Indian Ambassador in Russia. He will contact the Trauma Centre,” she had replied to @murtazajaffar, fellow Kashmiri friend of Yasir.

Yasir from Hassanabad, Rainawari, a tweet from @murtazajaffar said, “and is currently admitted in Kazan Trauma Centre, Kazan.”

“@SushmaSwaraj ma’m a Kashmiri medical student has been attacked by local goons in Russia, he is in coma. Lost his money n documents too. SOS,” the tweet seeking help from Sushma Swaraj from @murtazajaffar had said. “Our Embassy officials will go and see Yasir in hospital tomorrow. We will bear all expenses on his treatment,” @SushmaSwaraj had responded.
