Kashmiri students in BGBSU held absentia prayers for slain Soura militant


Scores of the Kashmiri students at BGSBU Rajouri on Monday offered absentia prayers for Eesa Fazili who was killed during an encounter in Islamabad village. The students also boycott classes on Monday.

Reports said that Students hailing from Kashmir studying in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) in Rajouri boycotted their classes to mourn the death of Eesa Fazili. Fazili was studying engineering at the varsity.

Fazili was among three who were killed during an encounter between the government forces and militants in Kokernag village of district Islamabad.

Reports also said that students also hold absentia prayers for Fazili, whose funeral in Soura area of Srinagar was attended by thousands of people.
