Mushaal Mullick, the wife of JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik on Thursday said that Kashmiri Women are bravest in the world.
“Today is international women’s day which is being celebrated all over the world and it is the day when women talk about liberty, and rights,” wrote Mushaal on social networking site Twitter on International women’s day.
“The womenfolk in Kashmir are combating eight lakh armies of India and they are facing all kinds of oppression, harassment and molestations,” Mullick said.
“Rape is being used as a weapon of war against the women folk in Kashmir,” she said.
“Kashmiri women are facing the occupation with such bravery and such passion. Let’s salute them and celebrate them as a role model,” she added.
“Empowered women must become a voice for suppressed women of the world, only then is celebration justified #InternationalWomensDay,” she wrote on Twitter.
