SRINAGAR: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai urged both nuclear powers, India and Pakistan to shun war as history is a witness that nations even after fighting costly wars, have still to sit on a negotiating table to for a solution.
The spokesman in a statement said that Kashmiris were always against war and destruction. “We are only asking for resolution of the dispute by peaceful and political means for which comprehensive and serious dialogue is the only way forward,” the spokesman quoted Sehrai as saying.
Sehrai asserted that war and destruction is not the solution and only serious, sustained and meaningful dialogue can establish peace in Kashmir and the entire region.
