Srinagar

A day after 7 Hurriyat leaders were arrested for allegedly “funding Kashmir unrest”, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav said that in Kashmir Valley, the agitation against the security forces which turns out to be violent could be partially spontaneous, but it is largely sponsored by separatists.

“They get money through illegal routes from across the border. They are the ones who indulge in anti-India activities”, Madhav told India Today.

“Innocent people of the Valley are becoming guinea pigs in these acts of separatists. The political message is loud and clear. Law will be asked to take its course. It will not be stopped. Agencies will not be pressurised into not acting”, the BJP leader added.

“People of the Valley have seen through this bandh game of Hurriyat. We will make sure that people will no longer be afraid of these kinds of elements,” Madhav said.

“We assure people that illegal and anti-national activities of Hurriyats will not be tolerated”, he added.
