Independent MLA representing Langate constituency in state legislature Er Rasheed Wednesday asked Mehbooba Mufti not to “befool” people over Agenda of Alliance as Kashmiris “were never interested” in “so-called document.
Addressing a public gathering at Pattan today, Rasheed said, “Kashmiris were expecting Mehbooba Mufti to seek something concrete from BJP over resolution of Kashmir issue, and are not interested in listening to the excuses of PDP.”
“It seems that PDP had not been waiting to form the government for having some respect towards aspirations and sentiments of Kashmiris but wanted to divert attention from its internal crisis. Let PDP leadership understand that so called agenda of alliance is nothing but a disastrous surrender and to strengthen BJP’s and New Delhi’s stand on various issues the state is facing. If PDP believes that it can gain sympathy by claiming that it has made BJP to keep silence on Article 370, then it is living in fool’s paradise, as Kashmiris have not sacrificed for Article 370 or begging before BJP or congress but for resolution of Kashmir dispute,” Rasheed said while asking Mehbooba Mufti to go for fresh elections so that people decide “what is right”.
