The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora has once again extended date for completing the formalities of admission to various faculties.
The valley is witnessing complete shutdown since July 09, a day after popular militant commander Burhan Wani was killed.
“It is notified for information of all the concerned candidates who have been selected in various B Tech Engineering programmes vide selection notification no. 01 of 2016, dated: 7th of July 2016 that the last date for completing the admission formalities is extended up to 29th of July 2016 (Friday),” a statement issued by IUST said Thursday evening.
“Moreover, the interested candidates enlisted in the General Waiting List of the above mentioned Selection Notification can now report to the University up to 29th of July 2016 (Friday),” the statement said.
It is further notified that the last date for the eligible candidates to apply Online for Self Financing Category in B Tech Engineering programmes is also extended up to 29th of July 2016 (Friday). “The other terms and conditions shall remain same as notified earlier.”
