The bloodbath continues as another youth who was hit by bullet fired by government forces has succumbed at SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura.
Sources from the hospital administration said that the youth was admitted ten days ago but he lost battle of life last mid-night. He was administered many pints of blood.
The deceased youth has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmed of Kokernag of South Kashmir Friday.
The death toll since July 09 when mass protests erupted against the establishment has reached to 49 including an SPO. Thousands are injured and at least 50 youths have lost eye sight.
Meanwhile, on Thursday-day 13th of the ongoing protests, reports coming from Srinagar’s Bagwanpora Noor Bagh said that police opened pellet fire. “There was no stone pelting going rather children were playing cricket,” a local said, “at least 5 persons were injured, including one 6 year old child who was rushed to SMHS.”
