Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman had an extensive tour of sub-district hospitals including Pampore, district hospital Pulwama and district hospital Shopian on 20th July 2016.
“On his visit, he took stock of all health care measures being provided to the patients admitted in the hospital,” a statement issued by DHKS said on Thursday evening.
He also chaired a meeting with Hospital Administrators of the said hospitals and issued various directives for smooth functioning of the hospitals such that patients at large are being benefited.
He also had detailed interactions with the attendants of the patients who expressed utmost satisfaction the way Health Care Services is being provided to the patients.
He interacted with the hospital staff also and appreciated their dedication in treating and serving patients.
He also expressed special gratitude to all the drivers who did a commendable job by ferrying patients during these days. He also appreciated the volunteers also who did a commendable job.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Director during the intervening night of 9th and 10th July had visited sub-district hospital Bijbehara, district hospital Islamabad and trauma hospital Qazigund to assess health care services being provided to the patients.
He also visited Sub District Hospital Nagam, sub-district hospital Chadoora, sub-district hospital Chrar-e-Sharief and district-hospital Budgam during intervening night of 14th and 15th July 2O16.
On his directions, deputy director HQ Dr Abdul Kareem and AD DHSK Dr G A Wani had a detailed tour to health institutes of South Kashmir hospitals namely SDH Pattan, DH Baramulla, SDH Langate, DH Handwara, SDH Kupwara, CHC Sopore so as to take stock of health care services being provided to the patients.
