The “non-lethal” pellet gun continues to pile up Kashmiri youth in Srinagar hospitals. Over 150 youths have been injured by pellets and are being treated in SMHS. At least 25 youth may not see again.
Reports reaching here said that at least four youths from North Kashmir’s Sopore were rushed to SMHS after Friday prayers when forces opened pellet fires in several areas.
Local correspondent reports said that forces fire pellets in Nowpora, Doabgah, Noorbagh and Hadipora areas.
Four-five youths were injured and they were rushed to SMHS Srinagar. Police sources said that at least six installations of forces were attacked by protestors in Sopore today.
Similarly, reports reaching from central Kashmir’s Ganderbal said that several youths were rushed to SKIMS Soura who were injured by pellets. Reports said that protests erupted in Manigam area after Friday prayers when forces used pellet gun.
Reports reaching from South Kashmir’s Islamabad area said that protests erupted in Dooru area after Friday prayers.
Forces used tear gas shells to break the protests but youths continued to raise pro-freedom and anti-India protests amid intense stone pelting.
