Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday said that schools will reopen on July 21, 2016 in at least four districts in valley.
Earlier, the government had extended the summer vacations up to July24 in view of the situation in Valley which consumed at least 476 civilian lives when forces opened fire on unarmed protestors.
“In partial modification of its earlier order on summer vacations, the Education Department Wednesday said that all the schools in districts of Baramulla, Bandipora, Budgam and Ganderbal in Kashmir division as well as the schools in winter zone of Jammu division will reopen tomorrow on 21 July 2016,” an official spokesperson said this evening.
