A youth identified as Showkat Malik was killed at Hatmulla Kupwara in north Kashmir when forces opened fire on the protesters on Saturday.
With Showkat’s killing the death toll in the ongoing Kashmir unrest mounted to 41.
Kashmir is witnessing renewed bloodbath since last Saturday after protests erupted against killing of militant commander Burhan Wani.
